A downer of a day after the highs of the previous week.
We started sloppily and let in 2 goals, so were always chasing the game against a suspiciously good Old Parks team containing at least 2 higher team players.
We scored a couple of good goals with Alex and Jack doing some good work and Pete and Robin also looking dangerous. However we never quite got to grips with OP’s movement up top.
Good news is the 7s doing us a massive favour against Southgate. We have 3 games to go all at home, where we’re unbeaten, so just have to give it our all and hope for the best.
