Alexandra Park Club AGM 2013

The Club needs the active support of its members – football, cricket, social – in order to meet the various demands of administration and to ensure that the necessary help and support is in place for it to operate in both practical and cost-effective terms for the benefit of all its members.

It seems there are a number of people out there happy to comment on the Club’s management failings so perhaps time for some new faces to stand up and be counted by attending the AGM on Sunday 17th March @ 11am and showing their willingness to take an active role in the on-going management of the Club.

Grassroots ePetition

First team centre back and part-time comedian Martin Egan starred on Radio 5 Live (listen from approx 43mins in) this week, espousing the need for the premier league to share more of its cash with struggling grassroots organisations.

With government funding being cut, clubs like ourselves are facing a shortfall, even as the premier league spends ever increasing amounts on keeping its players in good supply of hair transplants, massive watches and camouflaged sports cars.

Please take 30 seconds to sign the petition below and get the premiership to pass on some of its revenues to grass root level, so we can ensure it stays affordable for us all to play:
