Weekend round up

Match Reports / News | October 11, 2010

The first eleven played our “nearest and dearest” last weekend and came away with a 3-3 draw against Crouch End Vampires. BigBadBukkas is back on scribe duty for Gunes’ brace and a Harrison goal. The reserves enjoyed a first competitive win of the season against London Hospital Old Boys 1st XI with Spencer netting all four goals.

The Fullerton/Nicholas led 3’s continue to get results as they won 4-0 against Old Latymerians. Fullerton (2), Carter and Murphy with the goals. Smudger’s 4’s also managed to get 4 goals at Gunnersbury against Old Actonians Assoc 5s which was enough to win 4-3. The 5th team game was cancelled and they will receive a walk over into the next round of the cup.

The 6’s did not have a game scheduled. The 7’s picked up an impressive victory away at EBOGs, Braid (2), Phillips and Rose making it another AP team to score 4 and having conceded 2 win the match. Not such a good result for the 8’s however, a strong Old Parks getting into double figures without reply.
