Goals: Biss(2), Hirst, Morris, Boyake, O’Leary
A trip to bottom of the table CEV this week for the mighty 4s. After last week’s setback we knew only 3 points would be acceptable to keep pressure on top of the table.
However this match was so bad there is not much to write about. Main highlights were Steve Biss proved miracles still happen by scoring two. Jacko contributing a goal in a heat affected 30 min cameo. Stu and Seb missing from one yard. Dillon and Conor both producing good finishes from outside the box and Andy killing off the game with a neat finish just after half time. Nothing else.
All in all a solid if not spectacular performance by the mighty 4s. Hat tip to Andy S who had to pay match fees and get in a clean sheet jug after only 5 touches of the ball all match!
Much tougher and physical game next week against Old Finchleans. We need to keep winning to ensure we keep the pressure up on Norsemen.
