2 wins in the space of 4 days, against Old Actonians and BB Eagles, sees the 1’s move to the top of the Senior Divsion 2 with 4 games to play. The 2’s game against Weirside was postponed after the referee deemed the Racecourse pitches unplayable. The 3’s lost out in a seesaw match to Norsemen on Saturday but claimed all 3 points from their midweek fixture against Broomfield. The 4’s shared the spoils with a win a piece against Winchmore Hill 6’s in a double header on Saturday. A bad week for the 5’s who lost 6-1 to Old Parks on Saturday and went down 3-1 to EBOGs in their midweek fixture. The 6’s game at home to Old Owens was also postponed. The 7’s came up short in both their fixtures losing to EBOGs at the weekend before narrowly losing to Broomfield on Tuesday evening. The 8’s are probably wishing the season was just starting as they picked up another win beating EBOGs 5-3. The 9’s pushed Old Garchonians 3’s close but narrowly lost 2-1 in a friendly.
