| Right Back | LAURENT CAUDEBEC (Fr) | An ever-present for AP since who knows when but has missed most of this season with a knee injury. I thought it was quiet in the clubhouse. |
| Centre back | PIERLUIGI LEGA (It) | Classy defender and a lovely fella. Played for AP 2s in the early naughties. |
| Centre Back | JOHN MURPHY (Ire) | A 4’s mainstay who did once attempt to play centre back before being asked to return to his favoured left back position. Great defender who likes to get forward and unleash pile drivers with his trusted left peg. |
| Left Back | MIKE MYERS (Ire) | Tough tackling full-back and former 6s skipper. Would get the beers in after the game too – and then some. |
| Left midfield | EMMANUEL ROSCHI (Switz) | Solid and technically gifted who brought some much needed continental flair to the club. Always at the meet dead on time. |
| Central midfield | RENAUD MELISSE (Fr) | Has made an instant impact during his brief time at AP this season: had his phone nicked and then got clogged by a Vamps player! Looks good though and will be in one of the top teams next season. Think Patrick Vieira or Ya Ya Toure. |
| Central midfield | DENZEL WELLMAN (Ber) | The Bermudan is new to AP this season and started in the 8s before establishing himself in the 4’s. Great pace and touch with an eye for goal. |
| Right Midfield | BRAD FIRTH (Aus) | A battering ram of a player who also has excellent technique and can also play upfront. Unfortunately got injured at the beginning of the season. |
