The 1’s started off the new year with a 5-0 win over Dorkinians to go through to the quarter finals of the AFA Senior Cup. Goals from Adjekwai(2), Fernee, Pennycook and Patterson. The Reserves were beaten 4-1 by Nottsborough to crash out of the AFA Intermediate Cup, the consolation goal from Tabram. The 3’s picked up all three points with a 4-1 away win at Norsemen. Goals from Bruce(2), Kenga and an own goal. The 5’s kept up their good form with a 2-1 away win at Old Parks thanks to goals from Doddimead and an Old Parks own goal. The 8’s will be happy to see the back of Old Parks after suffering a heavy away defeat in the league, Brown scoring the consolation goal. The 9’s lost the first game of their short existence with a 5-3 away defeat in a friendly to Lloyds TSB.
