Results Board on the 6th October
A great weekend for AP with the top five teams all winning. The 1’s were 3-1 winners away to Carshalton thanks to a Matt Kelly hattrick. The Reserves remain top of their division thanks to a 2-1 away win against Weirside, Hubbard and Wilding getting the goals. The 3’s are through to the second round of the SAL Junior Cup, beating Old Garchonians 2-1 at the Racecourse thanks to a brace from Ashley Brade. The 4’s also go through to the second round of the SAL Minor Cup with a 4-1 home win against HSBC with goals from Gatenby, Tabram, Johnson and Robinson. The 5’s good form continues with a 3-1 win away to EBOGs thanks to goals from Dodimead, Bowhill and Burwell. The 6’s suffered their first lose of the season and are out of the AFA cup going down 5-3 to Broomfield, Booth, Hudson on the scoreshheet along with an OG. Despite a much improved performance the 7’s lost the local derby to Crouch End Vamps, goals from Wyn-Bennis and Keverne. The 8’s search for their first win of the season continues after a 5-0 reverse against Broomfield.
