Whilst the 1’s were enjoying a week off, the 2’s despite a great volleyed goal from Tom Wilding were unlucky to lose 2-1 to Old Parks at the Race course. The 3’s draw away to Crouch End Vampires came with some bad news as Duncan Anderson broke his ankle. All at the club wish him a speedy recovery. The 4’s, down to 10 men for the second half due to injury, were unlucky to lose 2-1 to EBOGs while the 5’s won by the same scoreline against Old Owens, Doddimead and Sulemanji with the goals. The 6’s beat Old Salvatorians 3-2 (1-1 aet) on penalties to advance to the second round of the AFA Intermediate Novets Cup. The 7’s got their first win of the season beating Crouch End 2-1 thanks to an O.G. and a Darren Tullet penalty. The 8’s continued their impressive unbeaten streak beating Winchmore Hill 5-2 in the SAL Junior Novets Cup with Olly Tolcher grabbing a hattrick.
Finally a big thank you to Social Secretary Joe Robinson for a very entertaining quiz night.
