Simmo and his Lib Dem chums rollin’ deep at the park – maybe this is why he hasn’t been to pre-season yet?
Training for the 1-3’s is now well under way. Turnout has been strong, and it has been pleasing to see plenty of new quality turning up. However, some of the players from these teams last year seem to be resting on their laurels, as they have not been making the effort to attend! Clearly they are comfortable with playing lower down next season!
Training for the 4’s-8’s kicks off this week, and we are hoping for a strong turnout. The normal rules apply, check in with Taggart (Richard Gibbs), pay your money, get a bib and impress the new management team of the Reserves, Keith and Soggs. Please note that we do not provide credit at AP, so if you do not pay, you will not train!
A sign that the new season is fast approaching is that the Cup Draws have been made. Last season, the Reserves were the clubs top performing cup team, reaching the Quarter Finals of the AFA Intermediate Cup, losing narrowly to eventual finalists HAC (it is becuase of this strong perfomance that they have received a bye to Round 2!) Who will be ‘Up for the Cup’ this season?
