This Saturday, we remember 2 members of the AP family whom are no longer with us. John Wotton passed 5 years ago from motor-neurone disease – we were robbed of a still young man who was the life and soul of any gathering. This time last year, we heard the sad news about Phil Cain, who passed in tragic circumstances.
Our 1st team are playing one of John’s former teams, Old Aloyisians, and the game is in the AFA Cup, for whom Phil was a referee, we see this weekend as the perfect time to celebrate their lives and contributions to AP.
We ask all our players, opposition, and referees to join us in a minutes applause for both men, who left us before their time was due.
