Phil’s children, Josh & Charli, are aware of a tremendous sense of loss from those Phil touched during his life, both within and beyond AFA football. To this end and to assist our understanding of numbers of those who plan to attend, could you please reply to the above email address: john.cooke@amateur-fa.com indicating if you intend to attend: –
A – Funeral
B – Wake
C – Both
Josh & Charli have requested flowers from family only but in celebration of Phil’s life and the kind of person he was, a ‘Just Giving’ page will be setup – details to follow. Alternatively, donations can be made to the family’s chosen charity on the day.
Football Subscription – Deadline All Players Must Read This
This Saturday (5/11) is the final chance to pay your Football Subscription in full. Anyone who still owes after this date will not be selected for any team until they have done so (and the Football Subscription will subsequently rise from £60 to £70). If you are going to pay online it MUST be done by Sunday otherwise the penalties above (non-selection, full Football Subscription (£70)) will be invoked.
Excuses not accepted: 1) I didn’t know 2) No one told me 3) I don’t get paid until the end of the month/middle of the month/12th of never 4) The cash-point was empty 5) The cheque is in the post 6) My dog ate my homework
So to re-iterate and to mis-quote Dario Fo (google him) – DON’T PAY…CAN’T PLAY.
