Club Dinner

Our ever-popular Club Dinner will take place at the Clubhouse on the above date – please e-mail Richard Gibbs (richard_gibbs@live.co.uk) to confirm your place as soon as possible.
This is THE event of the Football Season – excellent 3-course meal (cooked by our superb chef, Sergio) followed by coffee, cheese and biscuits; a wonderful ambience and a marvellous array of speakers :
Special Guest Speaker: Mark Dolan (Edinburgh Festival stand-up comedian, presenter of Channel 4’s “Balls of Steel”, member of Destiny’s Dads for Comic Relief and presenter of Sky Movies film show “35MM”). Sadly, doesn’t know much about football (he supports Spurs).
Replying for the Guests: Alex Paterson 1st Team Captain, writer of the funniest match reports, speaker of eloquence and erudition (and other big words), a disciplinary record which would make Lee Cattermole blush.
M. C: Andy Brough droll, self-effacing, occasionally funny. (In addition to our usual raffle we are also having a competition – guess the numbers of famous people Andy name-checks during the course of the DINNER (I’m going for 175). First prize is an evening listening to Andy, 2nd prize is 2 evenings listening to Andy.

Club AGM
This year’s football club AGM will be on Sunday 8th June with an 11am start.
This is the event when captains for the ten teams are voted in, as well as key roles on the committee, so it’s your chance to have your say.
It also includes discussion on crucial topics to the running of the club including match fees, pitches, kits, facilities etc, so please do make the effort to come along.
