Winchmore Hill 8s 1 – Alexandra Park 7s 4

Minor Division 4 North | April 8, 2014

This game was a 6 pointer in our relegation dog fight. A win could almost guarantee safety whilst a loss was unthinkable. We lined up in a 4-3-3 formation, looking to attack from the off. You could see the hunger straight away with Charlie and Lewis chasing everything, the former was fouled In the box after being bundle to the floor. Smith stepped up but was denied by the keepers feet. However this didn’t dent our confidence, we continued going forward and a long ball from Farhad allowed Charlie to slip in behind the defence & slot in our first. Moments later after some great play down the left, J.Dudmish played a ball across to Banny, who let fly on the turn. 2-0. We continued to dominate & got a third through Curran, who scored a well placed shot at close range.

Halftime 3-0

Our passing and movement during the second was great to see, backed up by our fourth goal in which all most every player contributed to and J.Dudmish kindly finished off with a driven shot into the bottom lefthand corner. The only downside was we allowed them a consolation at the end. 4-1

Another great team display, in which it would be unfair to name anyone MoM, all gave outstanding performances! Lets keep this up and end the season on a high!
