Saturday 25th @ 10am:
2’s and 3’s at Preston Manor are OFF
Following fixtures have been called OFF: 4s, 5s, 8s, 9s.
7s fixture has been moved to West Wickham: Corkscrew Hill, West Wickham, Kent, BR4 9BA. Trains to West Wickham depart from Charing Cross or Cannon Street.
1’s and 6’s are currently on.
Training update
Starting next week the club are making the following changes to training:
3′-9’s and new players: White Hart Lane Community Sports Centre, 7.45 – 9 p.m. on full astro. Session will be broken down to utilise the space available.
1’s – 2’s (Invite only): Greig City Academy School, 6.30 – 8 p.m.
Farewells
Tony would do anything for AP
Sadly this month sees Tony Bent depart after 22 years at the club to take a new job in Nigeria. In this time Tony has done sterling work for the club as a player, fixtures secretary, chairman of selection and much more.
His biggest contribution though was undoubtedly as Chairman. Tony took over with the club in the doldrums and through hard work, leadership and a huge amount of moaning, he has helped us get where we are today, with ten teams operating and a period of significant success across all levels of the club.
On behalf on all members past and present we would like to thank Tony and wish him all the best for the future!
Also leaving the club this week to return to Germany is Jan Kortevoss.
Although only with the club a short while it’s fair to say Jan made a big impact, scoring the hattrick that secured the 9s their historic first win and notching 9 league goals for the 6s in their quest to win the league.
All the best Jan and we hope to see you return to celebrate a league title for the 6s!
