The 1’s fine run of form continued with a 3-1 home win against local rivals Crouch End Vamps. The 2’s conceded 4 away to Old Westminster Citizens but still grabbed all 3 points thanks to 6 goals of their own to keep them in the promotion frame. The 3’s slumped to a 4-1 home defeat to Old Salesians. The 4’s inconsistent run of form continued with a 4-3 home reverse to Old Finchleans. The 5’s fought back from 3-0 down to Broomfield but just didn’t have enough to equalise and go out of the AFA Senior Novets Cup. The 6’s earned a credible draw away at Old Owens which keeps them in with a chance a promotion. The 7’s and keeper extradordinaire Tony Bent are through to the next round of the SAL Junior Novets Cup thanks to a 2-1 win against South Bank Cuaco. The 8’s are still looking for that elusive first win after a 5-0 reverse away to EBOGs. The 9’s lost 8-2 after conceding a handful of late goals to BB Eagles in a friendly at the Racecourse.
