The 1’s returned from their trip down south with three points in the bag after a 4-2 win away to Merton, 2 goals from Kelly and Gunyon and McVeigh with one a piece. The 2’s are early leaders of Intermediate Division 2 thanks to a 4-2 win away to Bank of England, Kadua, Hillier, Hubbard and Shaw-Morris with the goals. The 3’s kicked off their new campaign in Senior Division 2 with a 3-2 home lose to Old Westminster Citizens. The 4’s won 4-1 away to Old Chigwellians in the AFA Minor Cup with Tony Bent only a late penalty away from keeping a clean sheet. A brace from Semaj and goals from Robinson and Jack Morris saw them through to the next round. The 5’s put 3 past Winchmore Hill but also conceded five leaving Joe Robinson still looking for his first league win of the season. Nally, Booth and  Knight were on target for the 6’s as they beat Norsemen 3-1. The 7’s narrowly lost 1-0 at home to Old Finchleans, while the 8’s also lost a close fought encounter 3-2 to Old Parks.

All at AP wish  Brad Firth a speedy recovery after he suffered a knee injury away to Old Chigwellians.

Training Update

Training for the 1-4’s will be held starting this Tuesday on the 3G pitches at New River from 6.45 to 8pm. Training for the 5-8’s will be announced shortly.
