3's celebrate securing the Junior 3rd Division Title at Bank of England
Congratulations to Captain Kurt, manager Duncan and all the 3’s players who secured the Junior Division 3rd title with a 6-2 win away at Bank of England. Goals from Hancox, Brade, Coughlan, Fullerton and a brace from Carter ensured the title and also kept up the 3’s unbeaten league record. The 4’s, watched by chairman Tony Bent and other AP luminaries, put their relegation fears behind them with a convincing 5-1 win away at Norsemen. Goals from Earle, Reynolds, John “The Warrior” Gatenby and two for Astropalitis secured the result.
In the first of two inter club games at the Racecourse, the 6’s had too much for the 5’s and ran out 3-0 winners. A brace from Graves and a Jack Dudmish goal give Mike Myers the bragging rights. In the second game Simon Tolcher’s 8’s ran out 2-1 winners over the 7’s to ensure a winning start to their Spring Cup campaign.
