Result of the weekend goes to the 3’s who win 1-0 at home to Southgate and see themselves promoted to Junior Divsion 2. Congratulations to manager Duncan Anderson and skipper Kurt for a successful season. They can’t turn off just yet as they aim to go the season unbeaten in the league.
The 1’s continued their winning ways with a 3-2 win away to Ibis with Matt Kelly again amongst the goals. It was a bad day at the office for Dave Mac and the 2’s as they lose 2-0 at home to Lloyds TSB. The 4’s put in a spirited performance to draw 1-1 at home with promotion chasing Old Owens. The 5’s were unlucky not to get all three points against Old Parks, conceding a last minute equaliser. The 6’s will be happy to see the back of Old Finchleans after a 4-0 reverse. The 8’s were unable to get anything out of a double header away to Old Stationers losing 2-0 and 4-1.
