Congratulations to John Morris and the 1’s who with a 3-1 win over Old Latymerians at the Racecourse the 1’s have guaranteed promotion to Senior Division 2. Goals from Kenga, Matt Kelly and captain Alex Patterson ensuring the 3 points. 3 wins from their next 5 games will guarantee the title.
The 2’s bounced back from a poor result last week winning 3-1 at home against BB Eagles. Munero, Jeator and Hancock with the goals.
Result of the day goes to the 3’s who, 4-1 and a man down with 15 minutes to go, managed to turn the result around winning 5-4 with a last minute winner to keep their unbeaten league record going. Ashley Brade and Adam Bruce with a brace each and Jed Wood the scorers.
The 4’s couldn’t build on last weeks win, losing 3-1 to EBOG 5’s, Astropalitis scoring the consolation. The 5’s were unable to hold on to an early 2-0 lead narrowly lost to 4-3 to league leading Broomfield. Will Lewis, Kralik and Firth with the AP goals. The 6’s got back to winning ways beating EBOGs 4-0 away. Laurent re-found his smile thanks to the 7’s 4-2 win away to Broomfield thanks to goals from Kennedy, Rose, Tullett and Bowhill. The 8’s went all Serie A and ground out a 0-0 draw at home to EBOGs.
