Weekend Round-up

The 1’s winning streak came to an end this weekend at home to Old Parks in the AFA Cup as they went down 2-0. The 2’s were unlucky to come away with only a point from their trip to Merton conceding in the last few seconds to draw 1-1, Dan Wilding with a 30 yarder for AP. The 3’s advanced to the 3rd round of the league cup beating Old Actonians 4-2 away, Fullerton, Wood and Hughes with a brace for AP. The 4’s broke their losing streak winning 2-1 away to Old Stationers in the league, Astropalitis grabbing both goals. The 5’s drew 2-2  at home to Norsemen with Milligan and Firth on the scoresheet. A Mel Loughane goal was enough for the 6’s to see off Norsemen while the 7’s won a close fought affair with Broomfield 3-2 thanks to goals by Josh Roberts (2) and Darren Tullett. The 8’s won 9-3 in the high scoring game of the day away to EBOG: Potter, Croft, Bagley, Parsons, Waldrum , Soar and Olly Tolcher with a hattrick for AP.
