News | October 24, 2011

The 1’s climbed to second in Senior Division 3  by putting six past Kew Association with Matt Kelly scoring a hattrick.  The 3’s, with stand in keeper Tom Marshall, went through to the third round of the AFA Junior Cup after beating Sinjuns Grammarians 4-3. Despite dominating for most of the match the 4’s lost 2-1 to league leaders Norsemen, DJ Alex Reynolds with the goal for AP. In spite of playing against 10 men for most of the match following an early red card, the 5’s were unable to go beyond a 1-1 draw at home  to Old Finchleans, Tom White with a 50 yard header for AP. The 6’s played out a 0-0 draw also against Old Finchleans. The 7’s & 8’s were both away in cup action but came back empty handed, the 7’s losing 4-7 to Old Actonians after extra time, Darren Tullet grabbing a hattrick,  and the 8’s going down 3-1 to Polytechnic, Olly Tolcher with the AP goal.
