The first XI were in action at Old Finchleians and came away with a 1 – 1 draw, Tom Spencer with the goal – skipper Alex Patterson said “happy with draw, although could have been better but for a 30 yard wonder goal by them.” The reserves got an impressive result away at Weirside – Wooten and Mbelo with the goals.
The fourth team we’re beaten 2 -1 by Old Wilsonians in the AFA Minor Cup game which saw Alex Jeater captain the team for the first time. The 5s were well beaten by their league leaders EBOGs 5s in the SAL Senior Novets cup quarter final at New River, Horner opening the scoring.
Millsy’s 6s are still scratching around for their first win of the season – a 7 – 4 defeat away at Norsemen. The 7s are still in the promotion mix after a 2 -2 draw with Old Owens but unfortunately the 8s prop up the same division after a 9 – 2 defeat away at Old Finchleians.
