The fourth team lost 4-1 at Old Actonians. The fifth team bucked the weekend trend and turned a 2 goal deficit at half time into a 4-2 victory. Ditmar Sulemanji scoring a brace after coming on at half time. The 6s lost 3-1 to Crouch End Vampires, Adam Tripp scoring with a stunning 35 yard strike to equalise in the second half but a penalty and a late deflected goal sealed the defeat.
In the big inter club match the 8’s came from behind to beat the 7’s 2-1. This comes only a few weeks after the 7s beat the 8s convincingly by 8 goals in a pre-season friendly.
The Vets were also in action this weekend and despite forcing the game into extra time (4-4) lost 12 – 4 to Old Buckwelians at Roding Valley playing grounds.
