Women’s Cup Final – Sunday May 17th
The AP Women’s will play the final of the Sue Sharples Memorial Trophy vs Victoire Ladies on Sunday May 17th. The game is an 11am kickoff at Ashford Town FC’s Robert Parker Stadium (Short Lane, Stanwell, Middlesex TW19 7BH).
There is no need to say that all support is important. However it would be great for the Women’s team and to your club if you can make an effort to attend this match.
Please note that there is an all-day admission charge of £5 for adults and £2 for children.
AP vs Perly Certoux FC – Saturday May 16th
Last season you will recall the Club had a very successful end of season tour to Geneva where we played two games, one against Servette Veterans and another against local side Perly.
Perly are a similar type of club to AP with good facilities and clubhouse and run senior, youth , junior and veteran sides. After our hard fought game with them (score line did not reflect the game!) and subsequent refreshments we foolishly thought we should invite them to the Racecourse Ground to seek suitable revenge (never thinking they would take up the offer!). However they have accepted this top European challenge and we will be hosting a game at New River at 10.30 am on Saturday 16th May.
The Club Chairman will be recruiting players to represent AP in Europe and any support on the day would be appreciated by all concerned.
Club Dinner – May 29th
This should be a fantastic evening what with the success of the club this season. Tickets are 25 quid, for an evening of great grub, great speeches spent amongst great people. Our guest speaker will be confirmed in the coming weeks, but it is going to be good! Let your skipper or Richard Gibbs know if you wish to attend.
