Well a much closer game than need be but eventually we got the job done, I think the problem being we started the game expecting to win which as we all know is not the way to prepare! Again for most of the game we where tight and tidy at the back the main problem was keeping possession where at times we where sloppy with a lot of loose passing and mis control but after a few nervy moments in the first half we took control and opened up Merton at will.
Niall Joyce again had a great game and was a constant threat on the wing and capped this display with a well taken goal, Darren Tullet also repeated his trick of a brace and an assist to cap another good day at the office for the captain and Daniel sterling also scored what turned out to be the winner with a clever flicked header to increase his tally for the season. As always Jon. G controlled the defence well alongside pietro. D and Christian. L who also put in good shifts.
The most impressive thing was the way we went forward from midfield to attack with Wayne. H providing a good link between the two getting a lot of the ball in good areas overall not a terrible day with a good fighting spirit which earnt us the 3points so well done to all involved lets keep it up we are building a good camaraderie between us all which can only help the team!!
