This week is the last set of AP fixtures before the Christmas break and to celebrate our social secretary has organised a night out at the Faltering Fullback in Finsbury Park, from 7pm. It would be great to get as many teams as possible out to celebrate a very successful year for AP.
Results for Sat. 8th December
The Reserves lost a hard fought, in more ways than one, cup tie at home 2-0 to Old Owens bowing out of the AFA Middlesex/Essex Cup. The 3’s got the result of the day winning 7-2 away in Kent to Weirside Rangers with Ashley Brade grabbing a hat trick. The 4’s got their first taste of the Preston Manor pitches but could not get past the league leaders Winchmore Hill losing 3-1. Jack Morris getting the AP goal. The 6’s drew 2-2 at home to Norsemen after leading 2-0, Parsons and Nally with the goals. The 9’s made the short trip to play Vamps in a friendly and lost 2-1 in a closely contested match with Tullett giving them the momentary lead. The 5’s and 8’s games away to Old Parks were both postponed.
