A last reminder that this Saturday at 7.30pm is AP Race Night come along to win some money and support the club.
Training for the 1-3s continues Wed nights 7-8.30pm. This session will now have a rota of volunteers to ensure well run and enjoyable sessions. These will be split between ¾ hour fitness/circuits and ¾ hour 5 aside. So please make the effort – it’s your fitness, season and club!
Training for the rest of the club continues Tuesdays 7-8.30pm. Attendance has been really poor over the past few weeks, so please make the effort to come along and support the club – this is a great facility and a good opportunity to train and play some 5 aside for a few quid, so let’s make the most of it! So we can get an idea of numbers, please contact Jimmy Lambert each week to let him know if you are coming.
Golf Day Results
A very enjoyable day saw the eventual winner Craig Chamberlain take the trophy on the count back from golf day newcomer, Max Kemplen. Both players scored 57 stableford points, but Craig, playing off a 9 handicap won on a count back over last 9 holes from Max playing off 17. Scott Kyle was 3rd on 54 points. If anyone who plays golf fancies competing for the AP Spring Trophy, please look out for a note in the newsletter as this golf day will be getting organised by Doug Rice in a few months time.
